We’re delighted to announce that tickets for Beautiful Days 2010 have SOLD OUT with 6 weeks to go! There won’t be any more tickets made available to buy in advance and they won’t be available on the gate. We can also announced that, in addition to Sub Focus, Krafty Kuts, Adam F and Stereo MC’s (DJ Set), the rest of the evening line-up in the Little Big Top includes sets from Warrior One, Don Letts, Foamo, Ben & Lex, DJ Andromeda, James Gill, Don Jonson, Mr Nice, Maxxi P, Lewah, Fred & Grafix, Trash City Soundsystem, plus MC’s Script, Jonny G & Agony plus Howard Marks. Also, congratulations to Gaz Brookfield who was chosen last week as the winner of the Acoustic Magazine unsigned competition who has bagged himself not only a slot on the Big Top stage this year but a portable recording studio, microphone and guitar. Thank you to everyone who entered the competition and to the other finalists.
Although all weekend camping tickets have sold out for this year car parking passes are still available to buy. If you have tickets but have not yet purchased a vehicle pass then please buy a car routing/parking in advance – they are routing stickers and will help us guide you on to the site and parked for the weekend. MARK CHADWICK SOLO ALBUM & TOUR
Mark Chadwick has announced details of the release of his debut solo album, entitled All The Pieces, to be released through Stay By Records on 6 September 2010, and a 10 date UK tour in October. All The Pieces is however, not a Levellers album. Whilst the voice may be familiar, that is where the similarities end. Instead, this is an intensely personal collection of folk-tinged acoustic pop tracks, written and refined over the course of the last two decades. Brought to life by award-winning producer Sean Lakeman Mark is joined by an ‘all star cast’ of some of the UK’s greatest folk musicians on the album.
All the Pieces is available to pre-order now with signed copies of the album available with pre-orders from www.play.com. A limited edition ‘All The Pieces’ collector’s pack featuring 12” vinyl or CD album plus t-shirt, cotton tote bag and screen print is available to pre-order exclusively from www.recordstore.co.uk. Mark’s October tour goes on sale on Monday. He will be joined on tour by a band featuring guest musicians plus support to be announced.
