As part of their 20th year celebrations the Levellers are giving away two BRAND NEW songs as FREE downloads from their forthcoming studio album "Letters from the Underground" which will be out in the summer.
The tracks "A Life Less Ordinary" and "The Cholera Well" were recorded in the band's own Metway Studios in Brighton with producer Sean Lakeman.

Headlining the main stage at the festival this year are SQUEEZE, SUPERGRASS and LEVELLERS. New for 2008! There will be comedy and spoken word on Saturday and Sunday daytime in The Little Big Top. The festival has music across five stages, family camping, a huge children’s area, food & craft stalls, real ale bars and amazing site art. HOPE NOT HATE 2008

The Rock Against Racism 30th Anniversary show at Brixton Academy on Wednesday 30th April is exactly 30 years on from the famous Victoria Park Carnival and on the eve of the crucial London elections which are being targeted by the BNP.
 Levellers join the bill with long-time anti racist campaigners Alabama 3 and reggae legends Misty in Roots. Local Brixton lads The Thirst – hotly tipped to make a massive breakthrough this year – are on the bill along with Tom Robinson, who headlined the original Victoria Park Carnival in 78, and veteran socialist and campaigner Tony Benn who spoke at the event 30 years ago.
The Brixton Academy show will be the culmination of a national Hope Not Hate campaign supported by the UK’s major trade unions, anti-racist campaigns and the Daily Mirror. More info from www.hopenothate.org.uk
