The band have had a great summer so far and will be playing at a few more festivals in August and September, including of course, Beautiful Days, before taking break to go into the studio writing and recording before they hit the road again in November celebrating the 20th anniversary of A WEAPON CALLED THE WORD. Mark Chadwick will be also on the road in October for a 10 date UK tour with a band featuring guest musicians celebrating the release of his new solo studio album ALL THE PIECES out on 06 September. Tickets for both tours are selling fast so don’t leave it too late to buy! A Weapon Called The Word is being re-issued on 11 October 2010, the album has been digitally re-mastered and features 4 previously un-released tracks from a BBC Radio 1 session PLUS a tour DVD shot by the bands crew in 1991. The car parking tickets are routing stickers which help us guide you on to the site and parked. They will cost you MORE on the gate and your entry may be delayed by not having one in advance. Car parking tickets are on sale from www.levellers.co.uk until FRIDAY 13 AUGUST. After that time they will be available to buy on the gate. Mark Chadwick has announced details of the release of his debut solo album, entitled All The Pieces, to be released through Stay By Records on 6 September 2010, and a 10 date UK tour in October. All The Pieces is however, not a Levellers album. Whilst the voice may be familiar, that is where the similarities end. Instead, this is an intensely personal collection of folk-tinged acoustic pop tracks, written and refined over the course of the last two decades. Brought to life by award-winning producer Sean Lakeman Mark is joined by an ‘all star cast’ of some of the UK ’s greatest folk musicians on the album.  There is a FREE DOWNLOAD available of album track ‘Satellite’ at www.markchadwickofficial.co.uk.
