This is the first newsletter of 2012 so firstly, thank you to everyone who came to the Levelling The Land Live shows just before Christmas (they were brilliant) and secondly, Happy New Year!
Looking ahead, the new Levellers album Static On The Airwaves is being mixed at the moment and its sounding great.
On BBC 6Music this Wednesday 15 February between 2.30pm and 3pm Chris Hawkins will have an extended live interview with Mark Chadwick plus the world exclusive first play of the forthcoming Levellers’ Record Day single ‘Truth Is’ out 21 April. The track is the first single from the brand new Levellers studio album ‘Static on the Airwaves’. Listen online through iPlayer, www.bbc.co.uk/6music, or via DAB digital radio.
The band are back out on the road for a string of European dates in April and May and will be playing new tracks from the album on these dates and at festivals this Summer. All the live dates announced so far are below and can be found on the website.
