Headlining the Main Stage on Friday are indie-funk Mercury Music prize winners GOMEZ, on Saturday it’s KILLING JOKE – one of the most influential bands of the last twenty years and Sunday headliners are, of course, the ultimate festival band themselves LEVELLERS.
Other highlights on the Main Stage and Big Top this year include reggae legends Steel Pulse, Eighties indie heroes Echo and the Bunnymen, The Proclaimers, ska legends The Selecter, Hayseed Dixie, Cara Dillon, Karine Polwart, Buzzcocks, Bhangra drummers Dhol Foundation, Seth Lakeman and Larry Love Showband.

Artists in the Little Big Top include Krafty Kuts, Barry Scratchy Myers (Clash tour DJ), Beatz & Bobz, Ben & Lex, Freq Nasty, Dib Dub, DIY, Pama international and Nick Mannaseh. A full list of Little Big Top artists and RUNNING ORDERS for Friday, Saturday & Sunday for all stages will be posted on the festival website over the weekend.
The action takes place over FIVE STAGES this year with the Main Stage, Big Top, Little Big Top and NEW FOR 2006 the Pussy Parlure (Spiegel Tent) and the Bimble Inn. From folk to comedy, punk to reggae, you’ll find it all at Beautiful Days this year. As well as a top line-up of bands and DJ’s, the festival has comedy from Perrier award winner Dylan Moran and a host of performance and walkabout artists to keep you entertained around the site.

NEW LEVELLERS LIVE DVD
Filmed at Reading Hexagon on 31^st March.  The DVD will include the Reading Hexagon show, comments from the fans, interviews with the band, footage from the acoustic show at Buxton Opera House show and from Beautiful Days Festival. The DVD will be released at Beautiful Days 2006 and then available in shops.

ON THE FIDDLE
Join On The Fiddle to receive your discount and the Levellers DVD State Of The Union.The DVD includes interviews with the band, footage from The Wickerman festival 2004, the Bluebell Railway 2004 show and a short film of walk-about and live footage from Beautiful Days 2004. This will be sent out until the end of June 2006. If you join from July onwards you will receive the new freebie which will be a CD of selected live tracks from Reading Hexagon 2006, Beautiful Days 2005 and Buxton Opera House 2004 and will be sent out later in 2006. As a member you can gain access to the member’s only area of the website, which has e-zines, audio and video downloads, chords and lyrics. You will also receive a membership card and approximately 15% discount on Levellers merchandise. All membership numbers will be entered in a draw to win 2 weekend tickets to Beautiful Days festival.
