Headlining acts for Beautiful Days 2009 are Hawkwind on Friday, The Pogues on Saturday and Levellers on Sunday who will be playing A Weapon Called the Word in its entirety, plus a few other favourites followed by a firework finale. A huge number of other acts have already been announced including Dreadzone, Lamb, Gong, Richard Thompson, The Imagined Village, The Saw Doctors, The Wonder Stuff, Pendulum DJ's and LOADS more! Running orders for the Main Stage, The Big Top and The Little Big Top over the three days will be posted on the website soon and acts playing in the Bimble Inn and the Pussy Parlure will be announced at the event in the programme and on blackboards outside the venues.
The Sunday night theme for Beautiful Days 2009 is FLOWER POWER! Thank you for all your suggestions and we know many of you are already planning some great outfits and accessories for this year. After masks, hats & wigs and our glitter theme last year we wanted to make sure we choose something colourful for 2009 so even if you already have an idea then just add something retro, psychedelic or hippie to your outfit!
Campervan passes have now SOLD OUT and weekend tickets are selling very well so please don’t leave it too late if you haven’t bought yours yet. Adult weekend camping and discounted children's weekend camping tickets are available to buy now from the shop www.levellers.co.uk. There are no day tickets available. Tickets will be posted out in July, we will give an exact date of posting nearer the time. PLEASE don’t forget to buy a car routing pass if you are driving to the festival as this will make your entry to the festival easier and quicker. Please try and car share where possible to avoid congestion, we've teamed up with Lift Share to make sharing transport to Beautiful Days a lot easier.
If you are not planning to drive then Stagecoach will be running festival buses from Exeter's Paris Street Bus Station and St David's Train Station to the festival and back. You don’t need to book in advance, the buses will be clearly marked for the festival and extra buses will run as needed. The bus timetable for Beautiful Days 2009 is:
FRIDAY Exeter > Escot Departs Exeter St David’s at 10am, 12 noon, 1pm & 3pm
SUNDAY Escot > Exeter Departs Escot Park at 12 midnight
MONDAY Escot > Exeter Departs Escot at 9am, 10am, 11am & 12 noon
