FESTIVAL AWARDS

After wowing crowds at UK and European festivals this summer, the Levellers picked up an award for “Best Festival Feel-Good Act” at the 2007 UK Festival Awards held in London on 6th November. The award was a public vote and the Levellers fought off stiff competition from Madness, Happy Mondays and Kanye West.

Leveller’s singer, Mark Chadwick, also presented an award for the Best New Festival.
