The Anti-DicKtators are a collaboration of likeminded musicians horrified at what’s going on in Ukraine at the moment, and wanting in their own small way to help contribute to raising awareness and money for a relief fund.
They are producer Phil Meadley (The Gaslight Troubadours), vocalist/songwriter Yuriy Gurzhy (RotFront – Emigrantski Raggamuffin Kollektiv/The Disorientalists), fiddle player Jon Sevink (Levellers), bassist Tom Robinson (Tom Robinson Band/BBC Radio 6Music presenter), and vocalist Katya Tasheva (RotFront).

After the success of their first release ‘Russian Warship (Go F**k Yourself!)’ The Anti-DicKtators return with their follow up single ‘Home’. This time producer Phil Meadley (The Gaslight Troubadours), vocalist/songwriter Yuriy Gurzhy (RotFront – Emigrantski Raggamuffin Kollektiv/The Disorientalists), fiddle player Jon Sevink (Levellers), bassist Tom Robinson (Tom Robinson Band/BBC Radio 6Music presenter), and vocalist Katya Tasheva (RotFront) are joined by Afro-Celt Sound System and Imagined Village founder Simon Emmerson on cittern, Richard Evans (Peter Gabriel/Birdy) on mandolin, Irish musician Lottie Cullen (Afro Celt Sound System) on pipes and whistle and Ukrainian artist and activist Diana Berg.

Very happy to let you know that the line-up for BD2021 is going to be announced on Friday 07 May. A few of the artists who were scheduled to play in 2020 weren’t able to reconfirm for this year but we are VERY excited about those who are signed up to join us in August! We are working hard continuing to plan for BD2021 to go ahead following Step 4 of the Government’s roadmap which will allow large events to take place without restrictions. We are planning for a full capacity festival with 90% of tickets already sold and are in regular discussion with...

Since our last update the Government have announced a roadmap for coming out of lockdown and lifting restrictions. There is now light at the end of the tunnel and a path to reopening for events.
We know there is a way to go BUT the future is looking bright and we’re going to do our best to make this summer BEAUTIFUL
